Gavan Young

Gavan joined ipac in 1996, and has more than 13 years’ experience as an adviser. He has a common sense approach to advice and is skilled at making financial issues easy to understand. Gavan enjoys guiding people through the ever-changing landscape of financial planning. He says he enjoys providing clients with a personalised service.

Gavan is a Certified Financial Planner®, is a Fellow of the Financial Institute of Australasia, and has Economics and Law degrees.

Gavan helps people to plan successfully for retirement and manage life transitions (such as career transition or loss of employment). Gavan assists a range of people including senior executives, professionals and retirees. In particular, he has a special interest in providing financial advice for people with special needs due to accidents, injury, illness and disability.
