Sam Rio

Sam joined ipac in 2005, and has over 11 years’ experience as a senior financial adviser, prior to which he was a Financial Information Service Officer with Centrelink. Sam says he enjoys helping people set short-term and longer-term goals, so they can get from where they are to where they want to be.

Sam has a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning and is a Certified Financial Planner®. He also has a Bachelor of Science. In 1999, Sam studied at the Securities Institute of Australia and was the State Dux in 'Superannuation and Wealth Protection'.

Sam helps people to gain control of their money, and manage life transitions (such as retirement, loss of employment or career transition). In particular, Sam has specialist knowledge in the areas of salary packaging, Government payments and services and public service superannuation schemes.
